About

I'm Alex, 16 year old who's just finished his GCSE's with the whole summer holidays stretching ahead of him. With all this time on my hands I've got involved in some exciting projects, which I'll be releasing throughout the holidays. The next thing on my list is integrating FABridge for flex with RJS for rails - effectively allowing you to write flex apps in ruby. I'm also working on a Flex version of my cms, eribium. Keep updated via my blog

I'm always looking for work experience, so if you can offer me please contact me. Equally if you want to contribute to this project - or any of the others - please get in touch.

I used to use PHP, but was introduced to Ruby (on Rails) and haven’t looked back since. My first project was eribium which is progressing well.

Trust me, every little bit helps—And is very appreciated! I'm saving up for a mac - which should make development much faster.

Juggernaut for Ruby on Rails initiates a flash xmlsocket between server and browser allowing real time communication between the two. This opens the door to all sorts of functionality such as chats and collaborative wikis/cms. The open socket connection allows the server to 'push' base64 encoded javascript to the browser which is subsequently decoded and evaluated.
